I teach, mentor, and facilitate learning experiences that draw on my work in archives, oral history, literature, cultural institution-building, and memory preservation.
My approach combines theory and practice, helping participants engage critically with ideas while drawing lessons from real-world experience building and leading cultural initiatives and knowledge institutions.
I am available to teach, guest lecture, facilitate workshops, lead seminars, and contribute to academic and professional development programmes for universities, cultural organisations, nonprofits, foundations, and leadership initiatives.
Areas of teaching and facilitation include:
- Archives, memory, and public history
- Oral history methodologies and practice
- African literature and literary cultures
- Libraries, archives, and knowledge institutions
- Cultural infrastructure and institution-building
- Narrative change and strategic communications
- African women’s histories and memory preservation
- Leadership, creativity, and social impact
- Decolonising knowledge and cultural heritage
Whether working with students, researchers, cultural practitioners, emerging leaders, or professionals, my goal is to create learning experiences that inspire critical thinking, encourage curiosity, and equip participants with practical tools to shape culture, preserve memory, and create meaningful change.
