I’m looking forward to delivering a seminar this June as part of the Women’s History Network’s Summer Seminar Series, a national association that promotes women’s history and research in the field, with members in academia and beyond.
“Unleashing the Tides of Muteness: A Women’s Oral History of West Africa” will be live online on 30 June at 4pm GMT (registration details to follow next month).
Before then, there are some great events for anyone interested in global women’s history, including the next seminar, “Historical Responses of Women to Global Vulnerabilities of Terrorism and Peacebuilding in Northern Nigeria, 1980-2025” by Dr Mubarak Tukur of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Nigeria, on 2 June.
